Circus!

Well today was a first for me. I went on my first field trip with Coop's school. I cannot believe that I am old enough to have a child in school and that my oldest son is old enough to be in school! It feels like yesterday when he was born and in 2 months he will be 5 years old! Time has flown but back to our field trip...

We all met in the cafeteria and then piled onto the school bus. I don't remember the last time I was on a bus like that. I could have gotten sick from all the bouncing that we did but seeing my son smile like he did today was worth all of it. He was so excited that I was able to go with him and seeing him with all his friends was so neat. They all just love him and all I heard all day long was, Hey Cooper, Cooper look, Theres Cooper. He has the sweetest spirit and I pray that he will always have that.

The circus was fun and crazy. I think they ate the whole time we were there but they had a blast and so did I. Getting to spend time with just Cooper is rare these days and I am sure they will get harder once Caden is here so I greatly enjoyed my day!

Colton was at a friends and did great. I sure did miss that little guy!

Sunny Days

On Saturday we took the boys to the park and had a blast! The weather is hopefully turning warmer and Saturday was a perfect day to get out and have fun. They played on the playground but I think their favorite part was running on the soccer field and getting to play with Dad on the baseball field. Here are some pics of our fun day...

Grizzlies Game

Tonight I got to take Cooper to the Grizzlies game with my Mom, Dad, and brother. Cooper absolutely loves to go to the games and has since he was 4 months old! Jeremy called me earlier today and said he had an extra ticket so I said sure.

When I picked Cooper up from school and told him that as soon as Dad got home we were leaving to go to the game he got SO excited! For the next 2 hours this is all I heard, "Are we leaving now?" "When is Dad gonna be home?"

Jon got home and I had him take a pic of us before we left and of course Colton wanted in one also. Cooper didn't have his Grizzlies jersery on yet b/c he didn't want it to get dirty before we got to the game.

We got to the game and had seats about 10 rows up at center court and my son was having a ball. He said hey look, pointing to the Jumbo Tron and there he was!!!! He was too cute and just waving and showing off his Grizzlies jersery. He was so tired by the time we got home about 11 and it was definately hard waking him up the next morning for school!

What a fun night with my oldest!

Monday Madness...

Well this is just a few highlights from my Monday...

It all started when I laid down to take a nap while Colton did today because Cooper and I are going to the Grizzlies game tonight and I knew I needed to have had some extra sleep to stay up late tonight. My alarm was set for 2 b/c we leave about 2:20 to get Cooper from school. My alarm went off perfect and I thought I have a couple more minutes and then Praise the Lord I got a text at 2:24 and I went in to PANIC mood. I jump out of bed and run upstairs and grab Colton and we fly to school to get Cooper, we were a few min. late but there was still 1 child left to be picked up. My heartrate started to slow down on the way home...

The boys ate a snack when we got home and then we went up to get ready for our early bathtime since we wouldn't be home tonight. I asked Cooper to go to his room to get undressed and ready for the bath while Colton and I washed his hands from his snack. We got Colton washed and I told him to come in to his room to get undressed and about that time Cooper started crying. He had jumped on the end of his door and hurt his thigh. He was crying so I was trying to figure out what happened. Then I heard Colton crying in the bathroom. So I tell Cooper your fine and finish doing what I asked you to do. I walk in the bathroom to see Colton in the tub with all of his clothes on!! So I get him out soaking wet and to the boys room where they were both crying and I finally got them ready for a bath!

Needless to say within 30 min. my wonderful Monday went down the tubes fast. But I had to post about it before I forgot the craziness of these days with small children. I am sure when Caden gets here there will be much more excitement!

I am excited to get to spend some time with Cooper tonight. I will post about the game later.
