Jon went back to work yesterday and Cooper was to start school today...

Yesterday we went to play at a friends house and Cooper was freezing, pale, and his hands were blue. So Stephanie checked his temp, 100.3. Not fun! So we came home and he was acting fine.

I called the doctor b/c he said something about his throat hurting but then said it was fine. They told me to come on in since he does go to school so they could rule out strep throat if that is what was bothering him.

We got to the doctor about the time he started shivering and turning blue again. They check his temp and it was 103. The strep test was negative but he said that if he doesn't get cold symptoms then it prob was strep and he gave me some medicine to get filled if that is what happened.

He woke up this morning crying about his throat w/ no cold symptoms so I was gonna get his prescription filled and we would be good. Then he said his stomach hurt. 20 minutes later he was throwing up everywhere!

Praying Colton and I don't get it. Just when I stop getting sick from being pregnant I will probably be doing it again real soon. I seem to ALWAYS get what the boys get. Jon on the other hand never gets sick, he says its because he doesnt eat or drink after us! O well, that is our life today!!

The joys of motherhood!

Almost Forgot...

I am so ready to find out what our baby is that I forgot to say that in 3 months Jeremy is getting married and I will have the best sister-in-law! Time really does fly by!

2009 was a great year for our family and I am thrilled to see what God has in store for us this year.

To go from a family of 4 to 5 will be huge and we cannot wait to find out if it will be another wonderful boy or a precious baby girl. Cooper just knows that it is a girl and says he already has a brother so he doesn't need another one. We have been praying for him because Jan.25 could be a great day or a really bad day for him! But we know that God is going to give us exactly what our family needs and Jon and I are fine with either one as long as we have a healthy baby!

So bring on 2010 and hurry up a few weeks please :) I am dying to know!!!

3 Christmases

If that is even how you spell it. We have had a busy 2 days. We went to the Lawyer's to do Christmas with them on Christmas Eve since Jeremy and Brandi were heading to her parents today out of town.

We had a great time and the boys loved their gifts.

This morning we got up early and headed to the Kenney's and did Christmas there then left about lunch time to come home to do ours here. My parents came out to watch the boys do theirs since they didn't have anyone at home today.

We have had a fun and exhausting day, probably mostly exhausting for me since I have little one inside me. We are so excited to think of next year with a 5 1/2 and 3 year old and a precious 6 mo. old!

God has been so faithful and good to us this year and I know that He will continue to amaze us in 2010.

So now we wait for January 25 when we find out if we will have a Caden Bryant or Harleigh Faith!!!!

Basketball

Cooper has started playing basketball for church. This is his favorite sport and has been I think since before he could walk. He has waited years to play and finally has the chance.

Last Saturday was his first game and he loved it! He scored 2 points and was just thrilled to be out on the court.

Yesterday when he woke up and was getting dressed for his game he told me he was going to score 20 points and dunk it. I said, we'll see about that.

Before I go into the next part, I was the only one at the game. Colton had a fever, so Jon said he would stay home with him and no one else from our families were there. I didn't have the video camera b/c it wasn't working so....

Cooper scored 28 points!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was incredible! I love watching him play and it just makes me so happy to see him in his element and loving every minute of it! Basketball was a huge part of my life growing up and I am excited to get to watch my son enjoy it as well!

What a great kid! It worked out great! We might try and do it the Saturday after Thanksgiving every year.

I cannot believe that he is getting so old. Feels like yesterday that we were bringing him home from the hospital.

My blog is messing up since I changed backgrounds and won't let me upload and pics but once I figure it out I will put some on here.

Second Thanksgiving

Well Friday morning we headed to Cordova again for our second Thanksgiving at the Kenney's. Jon's brother, Daniel, moved to Nashville back in March and none of us had seen him since so it was GREAT to spend time with "Uncle Daniel" and get to catch up.

We played card games and catchphrase. We had fun and when lunch was almost ready the element in the oven caught on fire! As we hurried to get all the cooked food out the back door others decided what needed to be done, do we call the fire dept or do we use the fire extinguisher?!??!

After getting everything out of the way, Sarah pulled the pin and sprayed the fire. Nothing...did it again....Nothing. They then decided to just close the oven door to cut off the oxygen to the fire. Smart. The fire died...but the kitchen was covered in dust from the smoke and fire extinguisher.

So we ate our lunch outside on the patio table. Nothing like a quick change of plans but it was alot of fun and we definately made memories that will last!

Here are a few pics of the day...

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 266px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_hVD9hJLxxsU/SxLy2avkz6I/AAAAAAAAAbE/zI8hIPBVpZU/s400/DSC_0086.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5409653119131111330" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 266px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_hVD9hJLxxsU/SxLy2HeD9VI/AAAAAAAAAa8/O7vlp_uqUXo/s400/DSC_0050.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5409653113957381458" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 266px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_hVD9hJLxxsU/SxLy1hvl4JI/AAAAAAAAAa0/ZUHnE50SDzo/s400/DSC_0025.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5409653103830360210" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 266px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_hVD9hJLxxsU/SxLy1KgDB2I/AAAAAAAAAas/Sm7RvmSx7g0/s400/14367_616986212910_38911107_34963572_402966_n.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5409653097591146338" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 266px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_hVD9hJLxxsU/SxLy1HQgwNI/AAAAAAAAAak/i3qpPxF5asY/s400/14367_616986187960_38911107_34963567_4364813_n.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5409653096720679122" />

First Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving!!! We had a wonderful day today and we are very excited about tomorrow. For the last 6 years Jon and I have been hitting both parents houses for Thanksgiving all in one day. It was very exhausting, even more so once we threw kids into the mix. But this year we decided to do the Lawyer's today and the Kenney's on Friday.

It was so nice to just relax with family and not be in a rush to get to the other house. We are so excited about spending the day with Jon's family tomorrow!

Hard to believe that this is our last Thanksgiving with just Coop and Colt. We are excited to see our family at this time next year with 3 kiddos!!! :)

Here are a few pictures of Thanksgiving at the Lawyer's...we took our dogs, Griz and Donut, with us and they tried to make it in a few pics!

In random order...ENJOY!

<img style="display:block; I am glad that diapers are gone for at least 7 months! :)

Colton and I are enjoying a rainy Monday by staying in our pjs and taking naps!

We are excited that Cooper is out of school all next week and we get him for 9 days! I am sure by the end of the 9 days I will be ready for him to go back b/c he is a bundle of energy 24/7. And he LOVES school, I mean LOVES school! His teachers are wonderful and we couldn't have asked for a better first year!

Not much going on this week but that is a good thing b/c next week is crazy with Thanksgiving. We love getting to hang out with both of our families and this year for the first time we are doing them on different days so we can spend more time with each one!

We have so much to be thankful for and today I am thankful to be expecting our 3rd baby. Didn't know if this would ever happen or when it would happen but we are extremely happy and even though I am sick, I am thankful that our baby is growing!

Day 3

Well today wasn't one of our better days at the Kenney household.

Potty training while having morning sickness ALL day can turn out to not be enjoyable by anyone.

Colton did have a good day, only 2 accidents all day but was very stubborn through most of it.

Hoping Day 4 brings a good day for everyone!!

Day 2

Well here we are 2 days into this and Colton is doing Amazing!!!

I went shopping with my mom today and my WONDERFUL husband stayed with Colton and sat by the potty most of the day but I think they had fun.

I was very nervous about taking him to church tonight but I packed a bag with 3 sets of clothes in case he just didn't go for it.

I went to his class and HE WAS IN THE SAME CLOTHES I BROUGHT HIM IN!!!!!!!

He went potty twice with his teacher. Our whole church staff went there for a conference. Jon and I enjoyed getting away from the boys and being with adults for a change.

I am beyond excited about where God has placed our family. Crosspointe is an AMAZING church and I am just thankful that we get to be a part of what God is doing there.

We had alot of fun just hanging out with everyone and had a nice relaxing time.

Colton is very into the movie Herbie, Fully Loaded and there was a Herbie on the street so Jon and I had to take a picture with it. I am very weak but feel better.

I am still coughing and sneezing but the body aches are gone and I do not have a fever. While the guys were at church I washed my sheets and so that makes me feel clean.

I am still in my room just to be sure its gone. I am praying its over and that I can gain my strength back. Just taking a shower about put me over the edge.

Jon and I leave for a conference on Wednesday so I pray that I will be 100% and that Jon does not end up getting it.

Still have the flu...

I am sitting here in bed, where I have been since Thursday and I am sick of being sick. Everytime I take my temp I pray that it is gone and its still there.

The chills and body aches are terrible!!!! There is really nothing you can do for it except drink lots of water and wait it out.

I am sick of my house and my bedroom and I am tired of hearing all my boys out in the living room and not being able to play with them. It breaks my heart when Colt is banging on the door yelling, Momma!!!! I want so badly to go grab him and give him the biggest kiss...Jon would die!!

My husband has been amazing through all of this. He took the boys to his parents house today just to get out of our house but made me promise to not leave my room and if I did to remember what I touched so he could clean it when he got home.

Fever Free

Well Cooper has been fever free since Wednesday afternoon and will be going to school tomorrow. Both sets of grandparents are coming to eat lunch with him at school.

I think it is pretty cool that my children have all 4 grandparents that are very involved with their lives. I only started out with 3 grandparents and none of them lived around here. It is something that Jon and I should never take for granted.

Enough of the boys....I am not sick! Wednesday night I had a low fever and was just hoping that I was just exhaused from taking care of the kids.

Thursday it was higher and my body ached so bad. It hurt to move and I knew that I had the flu. Jon immediately began spraying lysol and wiping down everything he thought I had touched.

Hoping it wouldn't last very long I settled into bed to sleep it off...or I was sent to my room and told not to come out until it was gone :) I love my husband!

FLU

So today I took the boys to Dr.Bubba and they tested positive for the flu!

I am guessing Cooper got it from school and brought it home! Lovely! But the good news was that the Doctor said he had not seen many parents get it. It was mainly hitting the kids. Good thing b/c I was being coughed and sneezed on all day long.

This afternoon Coopers temp went up real high again with the chills and all. He was so pitiful looking and was upset b/c he didn't really know what was going on with his body.

We are hoping he can go to school on Friday for Grandparents Day. We shall see...

High Fever

Well, we have been at home now since Friday night and Cooper has had a fever off and on. Sunday we did not go to church and I was getting upset b/c he was just as wild as normal. So Sunday night he didn't have a fever so we were going to send him to school today.

Well, I went for a run this morning and came home to a crazy house. Jon had been up w/ the boys since I had left. Colton had gotten sick in his bed and needed a bath. Jon had made Coop's lunch and was trying to get him ready for school. So when I got home I started getting his clothes on him and he felt warm so I took his temp. It was 99.4. Man, he can't go to school. So we put his pj's back on and try to relax.

He was fine till about 3:00. He breaks out with this 103 degree fever with chills and gets very pale. I was very nervous and didn't really know what was going on. Jon was in Staff meeting so I couldn't even talk to him.

He was in bad shape that night and I had talked with a nurse off and on and they told me that he needed to be seen on Tuesday...
