We were invited again to go to Coop's school to see him receive yet another award. The second nine weeks awards were exciting. Colton and Caden get so excited watching Cooper go up on stage to get his awards. Jon and I are so proud of him and his accomplishments.

This time he got Principal's list again, all A's on his report card. And an added bonus he received the Best Behavior award as well!! He was just beaming up there holding his awards.

Coop - Oh, I think I have a cracker in my pocket. (it's like 5:30pm)

Jon - From lunch at school?

Coop - Yes, looking at him like why not?

Coop - In case we played football at recess.

A Boy and His Dog

4 Years Old

Colton Graham

My Colton is 4 years old today! Where has the time gone? You were such a sweet baby but you sure did cry a lot and have some tummy issues...things that felt like would never end and now look at you!! You make me laugh all day long with your hilarious comments that you make. Your honestly is nice but can be a little too honest at times :) We sometimes think you are in a world of your own. You bring so much joy to our home and I am so proud of you. You love your big brother and you think your little brother is pretty special. I love hearing the three of you laugh and love to watch you guys wrestle. I'm sure the years to come will be crazy with you boys but I can't wait!! We pray for you daily to accept Jesus as your Savoir!! These four years have been amazing and I am so glad God blessed us with you right before Christmas!!! We love you sweet boy!!

Ballin'

My Coop loves him some basketball...its in his genes :) He is playing for Brighton again this year on a full court with 8 1/2 ft goals. He eats it up! I LOVE watching him play. I must admit I get into it alot, shocker...but it sometimes drives me crazy b/c I know more than the coach does. Anyways he loves it and has been blessed with pure talent from the Lord. Our first game went into triple OT...we ended up losing by 1 point! Yes I was sweating just a little bit...ha! Coop had 10 of our teams 13 points! Proud Mama right here!

Next game was very tough and the team we played was out of control I tried to calm myself multiple times but my flesh was coming out. Needless to say we lost but Coop had 5 of our 7 points! I am so proud of him and can't wait to watch him play the rest of the season!!

I love you Coop and am so proud of you and your bball skills :)

Georgia On My Mind

Today is a very sad day at the Kenney house. Our Pastor and family left this morning to move back home to Georgia for him to be the pastor at their home church. I am truely excited for them but selfishly miss them tons already! Stephanie is one of my most dearest friends. We have made tons of memories these past four years! She is a true friend and also one that I have laughed with till I have cried. We had many adventures with all our kids along for the ride. When we met there were only 3 now there are 7!! :) Having all our kids the same ages has been so fun. My boys are sad that the Perdues are not in their classes anymore. Our first Sunday at Crosspointe was Pastor Jim's as well...so they are just like family. Cooper is the one that really gets what is going on and it's been hard. Jake is his best bud!! He came home from AWANA last night saying that he was kinda lonely at church now because Jake is his best friend and he isn't gonna see him anymore. Tears! I pray for him! I am excited about taking trips down south to visit. Here is a picture of all the kiddos from Thanksgiving night. I am so thankful the Lord brought our two families together!! We love you Pastor Jim, Stephanie, Jake, Judd, Anna Kate, and Sadie!!!

An Interesting Night with Caden

One evening Caden woke up weasing and struggling to breath. So we took him to the ER to find out that he had croupe. They gave him some steroids and then about a week later after a double ear infection as well he got a little better. Here are some pics of his first experience in the hospital and hopefully it will be his last.

Fall Festival

Staycation

This past week was Cooper's fall break and Jon took off the whole week as well. We had plans to go out of town then Jon's car bit the dust so now we are back to just 1 car so we decided to just stay home and do fun things with the boys. I love doing things that we don't normally get to do with the boys and see the joy on their faces! Its worth it all!

Sunday we didn't go to church anywhere, it was very odd not being there but nice to have a break. We were going to go to the mall and then go get some lunch and head home for little man to take a nap. We showed up to the mall at 10 when we thought it opened. Well the mall doors were open but none of the stores open till noon on Sundays..who knew?!? So we let the boys play on the indoor playground that they had all to themselves. Next we were gonna head to Costco to look around...well I forgot my card so there we were standing in front of the store all ready then had to go back and get in the car...so change of plans. We headed to CiCi's Pizza and the boys ate like 40 pieces of pizza then we went back to the mall and then suprised the boys and took them to see Cars 2 at the cheap movie. It was alot of fun and Caden slept through the whole thing. Next we headed out to look at houses. A favorite thing that Jon and I have always loved to do and now the boys enjoy it just as much as us!! We drive around and find new houses being built and go in and check them out.

Monday we went to lunch at a newer place and had a great time. That evening we headed to Grandad and CiCi's house for dinner and some fun with Aunt Sarah, Uncle Philip and Aunt Savannah.

Tuesday we hung out at home and did some yard work then ordered pizza for dinner got to eat on TV trays and watch a movie. After we put Caden to bed we brought the big boys matresses down to the living room and played the PS3 and played a couple board games then watched another movie! Late night then they got to sleep in the living room! So fun!!!

Wednesday was a nice rainy day at home with nothing to do but play and hangout with each other.

Thursday we had lunch with NiNi and Grandpa and then went to Redbox for a movie night.

Friday we went out to lunch followed by a visit to a new cupcake shop in town owned by some great folks at church and it was so yummy!! The boys loved theirs as well. We got home and put up a tent in the backyard. The big boys were going to camp for the first time! We ate hot dogs and then made smores and then we put baby to bed and the pup to bed and headed outside. Yes I did have the monitor in our tent in case Caden needed us :) It was a lot of fun and all worth it to hear the boys just giggle with pure joy. We made it till 4:30am and it was about 45 degrees outside so we decided to take them in so we all didnt end up sick when it was time for everyone to go back to work and school. They had a great time and so did I.

We ended our week by heading to CiCi and Aunt Sarah's birthday party. Uncle Daniel was in town and it was great to hang out with the whole family.

Many new memories were made this week and I love spending that much time with my best friend. I have the best husband in the world and he is an amazing father to our boys. I am so blessed!!!

Baby Boy #4

We have added baby boy #4 to our family! 7 pounds 4 ounces of pure delight. He has adorable brown eyes and is so fluffy!

Fenway Kenney

We finally got our puppy Fenway on Friday and he is wonderful. After we had to put our dog down in June I have been trying to be patient to get another dog but I am a huge dog lover and I have really missed not having one at the house with me. We had Grizz for 7 years and its just weird not having him here. So Jon and I talked and wanted to get the boys a puppy for Christmas but the weekend we talked about it we found a litter that had just been born and so we just went ahead and got him now so the boys had their Christmas this weekend! Of course we will get them each something small and their Aunts, Uncles, and Grandparents will spoil them at Christmas but Fenway is their big gift.

He has done so well adjusting and I am LOVING having him!! I cuddle him and am training him to be a momma's boy! He is so sweet and I am so thankful to have added him to our family. Of course it was another boy! I don't mind a bit!! I am now out numbered 5 to 1 and I think it's awesome!

Weekend with Grandma

This weekend my Aunt Marsha and Grandma came in town from KS to come watch the Air Show. My Grandma loves planes and so she had to come watch the Blue Angels. We had a great time with them and Jeremy and Brandi also came in town so our whole family was together. They all came out to watch the boys play soccer Saturday morning then we went to lunch and headed to the Air Show. After that we had everyone come to our house for dinner. Here are some pics from our day. I love the ones of the boys with their Great Grandma! She is 93 so its very special to me that my boys get to spend time with her!!

Soccer Soccer

First Day of 1st Grade

St.Louis Fun

My brother and his wife moved to St.Peters, MO, just outside of St.Louis back at the beginning of the year and we have been waiting to take a trip to visit them. We finally got to go and had a BLAST!!!! The boys love their Uncle JJ and Aunt Brandi so much and really enjoyed the time they got to spend with them.

We got in late Wednesday night and the boys were wound up, even Caden! So of course we put them straight to bed anyways and told them to sleep in in the morning, haha, if you don't know by now but my kids are crazy and wake up every morning at 6. Period. Kinda crazy but they do so Thursday morning in St.Louis they were up at 5:45!!! Ummm, don't think so go get back in bed! They were giggling and having a blast so we let them come out about 6:30, we didn't want to wake Uncle JJ and Aunt Brandi but they did wake the dog that woke them up :) Good birth control for them!

Thursday we got up and went to the Zoo it was so nice and free but oh so hot!! We had a good time and came back home for naps then that night we went to Incredible Pizza. We had so much fun. The boys got to race go carts and even won ribbons for first place. We were sure they were worn out from the heat and the playing but yet again Friday they were up at 6.

We got ready and headed out to Grants Farm Friday morning and it was really neat. Free again and the boys really enjoyed it. Coop got to pet a camel, donkey, and a goat. Pretty cool. Then we went to the Science Museum that afternoon and it was kinda over their heads but it was fun. Next we hit up the mall where Uncle JJ bought them milkshakes :) Then headed off to dinner where the boys didnt eat anything b/c of their milkshakes...but it was my FAVORITE resturant, Fuddruckers. I haven't had it since December 09' in NC. It was sooo yummy.

Of course we never got a family picture or a picture of the boys with Uncle JJ and Aunt Brandi. Why does this always happen? Oh well.

Saturday we decided to head out a little early so we could eat lunch at Lamberts on the way home. The boys loved the rolls being thrown everywhere and we were safely back home by Saturday afternoon.

We had a great time and loved spending time with Jeremy and Brandi. Coop already has our next trip planned and he is ready to go, too bad school starts next week!

This is from a book I am currently reading and I loved how they talked about true beauty...

First Peter 3:4-5 tells us, "Let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God's sight is very precious. For this is how the holy women who hoped in God used to adorn themselves."

God's definition of beauty stands in stark contrast to the way our culture defines beauty. Our culture defines beauty by how we look on the outside. God defines beauty by what we are like on the inside.

Our culture puts forth a standard of beauty that is unattainable by most. God puts forth a standard of beauty to which we can all attain if we just respond to his work of grace in our lives.

Our culture encourages women to cultivate a beauty that will only last for a brief time. God encourages women to cultivate a beauty that will never fade and that will only grow more attractive with the passing of time.

I can't believe that you have been in our family for a year now! What a blessing you have been to all of us. Your older brothers adore you and your Daddy and I love you so much. You were such a sweet baby and still melt my heart with that precious smile and laugh.

You weigh 24.1 pounds and are perfect! 75% in weight and height. I am sure that you will continue to grow into an amazing young man.

Goodbyes Stink...

Grizz

Today is a very sad day around the Kenney house. We had to say goodbye to our 7 year old dog. Grizz has been with us as long as Jon and I have been married. He was my best buddy. He loved to ride in the car and cuddle with his momma. I will miss him greatly!

6 Years Old?!?

6 years ago today I was so excited but also so nervous. I had only been married 15 months and having just turned 21 I didn't really know how this parenting thing was going to go but God blessed us beyond my wildest dreams. What a sweet, healthy, happy baby boy he gave us as our firstborn! I love him so much. He is turning into such an awesome young man. The older he gets the more excited I get to see the Godly man we have been praying for him to become. He has the sweetest spirit and never wants you to be upset with him. He loves his brothers so much and loves his friends from church and school. I cannot believe he will be in the 1st grade in 2 months! Time is flying faster and faster.

Cooper Weston we love you more than words can say but God loves you even more and we pray for you and your future that you will use your life to further the gospel. We are so proud to call you our son and you are our favorite Cooper in the whole world!

Last weekend I ran my first 5K in 2 years and it was definately different after having yet another baby...I had to get off course and pee then jump back in. :) Sorry if you didn't need to know that. I cannot believe that I offically have a 1st grader. The year is over and we went to celebrate with Cooper. I am so proud of him and all that he has learned. He is so smart and can read anything you give him. I really don't think he should be this old but he is and I did get some tears in my eyes during graduation. 11 Months

This month I just couldn't decide which picture to use so I just did my 2 favorites. I cannot believe that he is 11 months old already. What a sweet baby boy he is.

He doesn't have a bottle anymore, is on real milk. Eats real food all the time and LOVES every bit of it! This boy is gonna kill me when he is a teenager.

He has 6 teeth with all 4 one yr. molars breaking through. Please pray for us :)

I don't know his weight but I do know he is solid! And I love every bit of this baby! He can stand alone and is starting to try and take steps which will make him more than likely our quickest walker. I am not ready for that.

He adores his brothers and laughs and squeals all the time while playing with them! I love watching them play.

Baby Dedication on Mother's Day

Today was a special day for me. It was Mother's Day and we got to dedicate our baby boy to the Lord. I am so honored to have been given three of the most amazing boys in the world. I do not deserve all that the Lord has blessed me with and I am so grateful for my 3 blessings!

I am so thankful for my husband and all the hard work he does for our family to provide for us which gives me the opportunity to stay home with our boys. I don't know what I would do without him. He is such a huge help to me and I love him so much.

Here are a couple pictures of our day. I am so sad to say that I didn't get one single picture of me with my boys today. It was a crazy day. Jon's sister graduated from college today and we ate out for lunch and dinner. Oh well. We will try and get it done one day soon...maybe :)

I cannot believe I haven't written in so long. Alot has happened...

*We went to my Aunt Cathy's funeral in Texas who battled cancer but is now completely healed in Heaven.
*We went to my cousins wedding in Kansas that the boys loved since they rode away on a motorcycle.
*Jon and I got a vacation alone without the kids to Boston! Amazing!!

And so much more has happened that I cannot even remember. I will definately try to catch up and be better at this.

10 Months

Here is our baby boy at 10 months old. Our pictures are getting more difficult to take since he does not want to sit still for 2 seconds for me to take his picture. This is the best we could get and he was still moving!

He is getting so big and it seems he has grown the fastest out of all of them. I guess since he is the baby it just works that way.

He is pulling up on everything and will walk with his toy that helps him. I think he will definately walk sooner than the other ones. He has 6 teeth now and they are so cute! 4 on top and 2 on the bottom.

He cracks up at both his brothers and LOVES to try and do everything they are. He went to his second movie in the theater and did awesome!

We love you so much baby! Cannot believe your first birthday is right around the corner!

Baby boy is 9 months old today. You are still sweeter than ever. You sleep from 7pm-7am. You love to eat all the time. You are crawling so fast and you are pulling up and standing all the time. I can't do the dishes without you pulling up on my pants. Your sweet smile is so refreshing every morning. You have 2 teeth with all 4 on the top coming in any moment now. You adore your big brothers and love to play and dance with them. What a great baby you are! You are growing up way too fast. I love you sweet baby!

Last week was so nice! It was definately a refreshing week around here with windows open and we started spring cleaning closets and the garage. One afternoon after Coop got home we went and played for a couple hours in the backyard. Caden got to swing for the first time and it was amazing to be outside enjoying a beautiful day. Cooper brought home a STAR literacy reading exam score this week. The paper said that your child was tested and the scores are based on age. So if you child is 5 they should score in the 500's, if they are 6 in the 600's. Cooper is 5 will be 6 in May. Guess what his score was?!?!? 812!!!!! Wow!!!! I am so proud of him. He is doing awesome in school. He reads everything and mastered all his kindergarten words by December and has almost mastered the 1st grade list his teacher got for him. Jon and I are so proud of how smart our little man is. Just wanted to brag a little and make sure I document all this.

8 Months

At 8 months old you can go from laying to sitting up all by yourself and you crawl everywhere. I cannot turn around or you will be gone.

You don't like to be held much these days, you just lean down toward the floor. You want to be independent! You love to go get the stuff your brothers are playing with. You get mad when they won't let you play.

Circus Fun

We went to the Circus today with some great friends. I got 6 free tickets and called a friend to see if she wanted to bring her girls and come with us. So I took Cooper and Colton while Jon stayed home with the baby. Penny, Ireland, Holland, and Colton had never been before. We took tons of snacks and had a great time. The kids love each other so much and are pretty much family. Our kids don't have any cousins, yet hopefully :), but the girls are close enough for now. Here are a couple pics of the kids.

Today was a first in the Kenney house. Caden told me he wanted to be free from his seat in the bathtub so he could be a big boy like his big brothers. So we did it and they all had a blast! I love those 3 boys so much I can't explain it. God knew what he was doing when he gave me all boys and I wouldn't want it any other way! Look how handsome they are!!!

My baby, today you are 7 months old and I think the months keep going by faster and faster. You are the sweetest baby and are just a pure joy to be around. You are a pro at taking your paci out and putting it back in. You laugh all the time and that smile will get you alot around here. You say Mama and Dada. I run up the stairs when you wake up saying mamama. That sound never gets old. You monthly picture is getting more difficult as you want to eat the paper. So I got the best one from that, then had to post the one of you in the playroom. I love you sweet baby!

This year is going well for us. I have been consistently doing P90X for 6 weeks now and I am totally addicted. I have lost inches and pounds. I love it so much!! The boys are doing great and growing older by the minute! I am so blessed to have an incredible marriage and awesome sons. I love my life!

This is kinda long so read if you want...

My baby boy has been through alot over the past few months and we are still battling to figure out what we are supposed to do and today was a day that I was fed up with all of it. He has had a cyst on his bottom since September and our Dr. drained it and said it should go away. Well it didnt and it has been coming back ever since. He said there was nothing else he could do so he recommended us to a peds surgery group back in November. We went and she was not very nice and just gave us some antibiotics, which we had already been on but we did it anyway. She said come back in a month. We did and of course when we did it was not at a head so she said it was just dead tissue and it will go away. Just come back in March?!?! So I left disappointed but what else could we do? It came back again then went away but this past weekend it was bleeding and then it came to the biggest head it ever has on Monday. He was in so much pain and was up in the middle of the night screaming, which something is very wrong for that to happen. So this morning I was done, I called the surgeons office and explained to them what happened and said I really wanted him seen soon so they could see how it looked. Well it popped when I was waiting on a call back and when she did call she said it would be 3 weeks till they could work him in. I then began to cry and tell her that I have to get him in very soon. She told me she would talk to the doctor and call me back. In the meantime I called our Dr. to see if we could just go see him. Well since we have now been to a surgeon our own doctor cant do anything about it. So they said to see if another dr. could see him. So I call back and the little lady that I had talked with earlier told me they were all booked for like a month. So I say ok, she says she will call back later. Bye. She finally calls about 12:30 this afternoon and asks me how far away we are and I told her about an hour, she said well get things ready in case we can work you in this afternoon. How am I to get things ready when I have to go get Coop from school at 2:45??? Neways, Colton, Caden, and I were packed ready to go and we would decide about Coop later, days like today would be awesome if we had 2 cars...neways. I get a call at 1:45 saying there is another dr. that can see him, go there asap. I call Jon to see if he can go with me b/c of the day I was having I didnt want to go alone to hear all our options. I went to the church and picked him up, my mom went and got Coop from school and just took him back to work with her. We made it and met a great dr, he took his time with us and was very kind. He said his formula could be causing it to reoccur so try soy formula. So we will start that. He could have surgery then a few days later another one could pop up so it possibly could come back. Then the more surgerys you have he could loose control of his bowels. Not gonna put him through that. He also said that once he is eating regular food and off formula it could go away. So Jon and I are praying that the formula change will help him and that it just goes away. Please pray for him. It doesnt bother him unless it swells up then he is hurting alot! We have a big decision to make before we go back on the 24th. Sorry its so long but I wanted to document all that we have been through. We appreciate all the prayers we can get. I am just so thankful to God for opening the door for us to get in today!

I cannot believe that today marks the last day of the year! Where did it go? Feels like yesterday we couldn't wait for 2010 so we could find out who our 3rd child was going to be and having him added to our family. There were definately more bad parts to this year than good, plenty of days Jon and I would look at each other and say, come on 2011. I pray that it will be a great year for our family. I pray for no broken bones and less trips to the ER next year!

Christmas Eve

We celebrated Christmas with the Lawyer's on Christmas Eve this year. We all went to Jeremy and Brandi's church for their Christmas Eve Service then went to Mom and Dads to eat and open presents. Today you are 6 months old and you got to meet Santa. You weigh 17.9 pounds and wear size 12 month clothes. You roll both ways and are scooting to get your toys. I am pretty sure you will be crawling within the month. I don't know if I am ready for you to be that active yet. You still just have your 2 bottom teeth. You sleep from 8pm-7pm. You are the best baby in the world and just go with the flow. We love you so much!! Happy 6 Months!!!

9 Months Old

Wow! I cannot believe you are three years old today! It feels like yesterday I was at the doctor trying to figure out why we could not get pregnant again and after a year and a half we finally found out we were pregnant! You are definately a blessing from the Lord and the most handsome 3 year old out there. Everyone says you are a pretty boy because of those dimples!!! You melt my heart when you just come up and tell me that you love me. You love your big brother and want to play with everything he is and you act so big sometimes that it makes me sad. You are an amazing big brother to Caden. You tickle him and tell him you love him all day long and I love that and so does he! Your Dad and I pray for you daily wanting you to accept Jesus as your Savior. We can't wait to see you grow up and become a godly young man!!! I love you so much Colton Graham!!!!

My oldest loves his Mom so much and I am so thankful. Yesterday at school they were having Santa Shop where we could send in money and put people in our family he needed to buy presents for and he could do the shopping. We didn't send any money because we already have gifts but his teacher from last year gave him some money, because he is absolutely rotten, so he decided to get me a present. He got in the car and was smiling ear to ear. I bought you a present, he said. So when we got home he got in his backpack and pulled out a bag. He was jumping with excitement. I asked where he got the money to do this and said that Ms.Bradley had given it to him. I opened the bag and he had bought me a pen with Mom on it. It was silver with purple on it, he knows that is my favorite color. He was beaming with pride since he had done it all by himself. I think I will keep that pen forever!!!!

Today when we got home from school I was standing in the kitchen when he came up and just bear hugged me and told me, "You are the best Mom in the WHOLE world!" Well my heart just melted. I love that kid so much and I am so thankful that I get to be a Mom to 3 of the best sons anyone could ask for!!!!!

Thanksgiving Part 1

We had a great Thanksgiving this year. We decided to have the Lawyer Thanksgiving at our house, Jeremy and Brandi brought the turkey and I cooked everything else to give our parents a break from cooking all those years. We had a blast and the boys enjoyed playing football, basketball, and soccer with Grandpa and Uncle JJ. It was great spending time with Jeremy and Brandi. I cannot believe that you are 5 months old! You weigh 16.5 pounds and wear 12 month size clothes. I am so proud of all that you are learning. You roll both ways and are really trying to get to your toys if we put them out a little in front of you. You love to eat baby food and really enjoy the puffs. You have both bottom teeth and are working on the top. You can sit up by yourself for about 5 seconds then you start to fall. I am sure you will master this soon! Soccer Season

This is Coop's 4th season to play soccer and he loves it. Basketball is his #1 sport but soccer is a very close second. This season he is playing for our church and Jon is his coach. I cannot believe how big you are! You are so precious and melt my heart every time you smile at me. I love that when I come pick you up from the nursery at church that you just light up! You love to smile at your brothers. I think you know Coop is gone to school all day b/c when he gets home and talks to you its so cute how big you smile at him and just coo to tell him about your day. You sleep from 9:15-6:30 every night and are still on your schedule during the day! You very rarely cry and when you do I can pick you up and you stop :) You love your mommy so much and I feel the same way about you!

First Day of Kindergarten!

Here is my oldest son about to head out to his first day of Kindergarten!! I cannot believe that he is that old! He went to Brighton Elementary School last year for Pre-K and LOVED it! We were spoiled rotten by his teachers and have prayed all summer that he would get a great teacher this year as well. I met Ms.Joy last week and she seems really sweet. Cooper has 2 kids in his class this year that were in his class last year so that will help that he knows a couple of kids. He is such a sweet kid and I love him so much. I have very much enjoyed him home with us over the summer. I will miss him alot but I am happy that he actually enjoys school. Something that makes me happy is that I still have 2 very sweet boys at home with me! What will I ever do when they all leave me?!?!?

I haven't mentioned how much Colton will miss his big brother! They play together all the time and have a great relationship! Colton had to have his pic taken with Coop on his first day. It was very hot outside so the lense was fogging up for the pics but I LOVE this picture of them!

And here is Coop with Ms.Joy right before we left. He did great and was so excited! When he got home he was all smiles! I am so glad he loves school!

Sick Little Man

As I sit here typing our little man, Colton, has a 103 fever. He woke up fine this morning and then some friends came to play and he came downstairs and cuddled up in my lap. FYI, Colton just doesn't do that. Cooper is my cuddle bug. So I thought that was kind of strange but I just enjoyed having him with me. Then Stephanie said, watch him have like a 104 temp. I said that would be terrible since Caden is still on his antibiotics. So we keep chatting and then she went upstairs to check on the other 4 kids and I decided to take his temp. And of course it was a 101.8. She quickly began to pack up her kiddos and get out of my house as soon as possible! Hahaha! We tend to share sickness between our 6 kids and soon to be 7 all together! Neways, we just have one car these days which can be very annoying on days like today. I had run out of any childrens motrin or tylenol so I had to call Jon to see if he could come home at lunch and bring us some. He said fine and he would be there in like 30 min. so when he got to the house I checked him again because he felt even warmer. It was now 103.6! So I called the nurse line and they were able to get me an appt fairly quickly. So we all hop in the car to drive to Collierville which is about an hour from our house! They said his ears were great but that his throat had ulcers on it and it was red. They did a strep test that came back positive but she said he had Hand, Foot, and Mouth as well! Really?!?!? So she gave us medicine and told us to keep him AWAY from baby! Yeah right! He loves his little brother so much and gives him kisses every night before he goes to bed. We'll see how that goes tonight! He looks so miserable and I feel so sorry for him b/c there is nothing else I can do but pray the other 2 don't get it and that he is feeling better quickly! So now I have 2 out of 3 on antibiotics! Please Lord let them all get better soon!

Ear Infections

I do not like those 2 words! Colton had terrible ear infections and ended up getting tubes put in at 15 months. We prayed so hard for Caden to not have reflux that we forgot to pray for few ear infections. Today I took him to the doctor because his nose is really stuffy and he had a low grade fever. We got there and my little man weighs 12lbs!! He will be a month old tomorrow and he is growing so fast, I will post a pic tomorrow. Neways, he checked his nose, throat, and ears and my one month old has a double ear infection!!! I could not believe it! So here we go with antibiotics. I am praying that this is not just the beginning of multiple to come! What a shocker!

We are all doing great here at our house. Caden is amazing and is on his schedule and sleeping 10-6 every night! What a blessing! He is so precious and I hold him all day...if you try to put him in his swing he screams. O well! He loves his momma, what can I say? He will be too big too fast so I am gonna enjoy all of his sweetness while I can!

The older boys are still doing awesome and loving their little brother. They are huge helps and I am having so much fun with my 3 boys!

I am so sad that its almost the middle of July and Coop goes back to school so soon. I have loved having him at home and I will miss him alot when that time comes. He is so excited about starting school and I am excited with him, he loves Brighton Elementary and so do we. We are praying for the teacher that he will get. We were spoiled with Ms.Katie last year and we are praying this next one is just as great.

Here is my Coop. He got to go swim at a friends house the other day and came home wanting to go out and play some soccer. He has been watching all the World Cup games and cheering big time for USA, sad they lost, but neways he has been playing alot of soccer because of that. He came back in because it was too hot and we were talking then the next thing I knew he was laying on the floor out! He doesn't take naps anymore but I guess today he needed one!

Life with Three

Today is my first day home alone with my 3 guys. I honestly didn't know how it was going to be with 3 kids but I figured since Cooper is 5 now he would be a great help and Colton just does whatever Coop does so I figured they would be good and they have done awesome! Cooper is such a help to me when I need him to get me something or just to sit by me and cuddle! Colton has really surprised us and loves his little brother so much, he says "I hold him, I hold him" all the time and I love to see the three of them together. I pray that they will all be best friends growing up and stick together forever!

Today has gone well. Caden is the most precious baby and is doing wonderful. He maybe gets up once a night and has already slept from 10-6 as well. We are truly blessed. He loves for his mama to hold him and I have no problem with that. He very rarely cries and does not spit up at all! Thank you Lord, Colton had reflux really bad and we prayed very hard for Caden to not have any issues with it. So far so good!

I was holding Caden the other night and just started crying and Jon asked what was wrong and I just smiled and said, He's just so cute! Hormones! But I just can't get over the fact that God chose me to be the mom to these 3 little boys. I love them so much and I pray for them daily to accept Christ at a young age. Cooper woke up the morning we had Caden and told my mom that he asked Jesus into his heart. Jon has been talking with him alot lately and we are praying for him. He still doesn't really understand everything yet but he is getting close and I pray that his heart will stay open till that time comes.

We are ready to see Daddy around here. Having him home for a week was very nice and my boys miss him! And so do I!

Delivery Story

We were going to be induced Monday June 21st at 5am with Caden. Sunday night I was having contractions but that wasn't anything unusual because I had been having braxton hicks for a loong time now so I didn't think anything of them. We finally went to bed about 11:30 and my alarm was set for 3:20am and I tried to go to sleep but the contractions would not go away and I just thought it had to do with having a baby soon the next day. I finally got out of bed about 2 after just laying there forever because my contractions were getting worse. I got in the shower and woke Jon up about 3:30 and said I am having contractions and they are pretty regular. He said, well good when we get there maybe you have made more progress so the induction won't take as long. By the time I dried my hair I was dying with the contractions. I was ready to leave immediately but we got everything in the car and left about 4:10. The whole way there my contractions were 4 min. apart on the dot and when we pulled in the parking lot my water broke! I got out of the car and walked into the hospital peeing on myself it felt like. We got to the window in the middle of a contraction and I told the lady that I was here to be induced at 5 but my water just broke in the parking lot and my contractions are 4 min. apart. She said, Awesome! I just looked at her and said, ummm can I have a room please. She says, just go take a seat in the waiting room and we will get you a room shortly. About that time another contraction hits and more water begins leaking and I just looked at her. She asked, would you like a wheelchair? Umm...yes please. They get me into a room and ask all the abusive questions without Jon and I kept asking for pain medicine b/c I was not about to have a baby with no drugs! She kept putting it off and the contractions were getting harder and closer together. By the time I got my epidural I was 8 cent. having contractions about every minute to minute 1/2. Someone shoot me! I thought I was gonna die! 15 min after I got the epidural I was 9 1/2 and began pushing! Hello! Thank you Lord for a fast working epidural. After 15 min. of pushing my precious baby boy was born at 7:33am, about the time my doctor was to come break my water :) He was a big baby, 9lbs 8oz and 20 3/4 inches long! What a cutie he is! I am so in love and he just melts my heart with his gassy smiles! Here is a pic of my little man after his first bath! What a handsome guy!

Father's Day

This morning the boys and I met my Dad at McDonalds for a Father's Day breakfast. My mom and Jon had to be at the church for the first service and we weren't going till the 2nd one so we decided to meet for breakfast. The boys had a great time and we discussed that tomorrow Dad will have his 3rd grandson! Crazy! Here are some pics of the boys with Grandpa. Happy Father's Day Dad! I love you!

Almost There

This week I have finished all my errands that were on my to do list before baby gets here and today I checked off the last one! Tomorrow all day is our last family day as the 4 of us! The boys are excited that we are going to see Toy Story 3 and then who knows what else we will do. I am so excited to spend all day with my boys and then I get to add another little man to the mix in just a couple of days!!!

We can't wait to hold our precious baby! We have to be at Baptist Womens on Monday at 5am! Don't think I'll be sleeping very much that night! We are very excited around our house!!!

Another Fun Day

Today I took Cooper to the doctor and he has strep throat! So now that he has had his shot he should be good by Monday! I am praying that Jon and I do not get it!!! Now that everything that could happen has happened we are praying that the next 5 days are good and healthy! By the way, I am exhausted and very tired of all of this!

Colton's Doctor's Appt

Jon and I took Colton today for his 2nd xray to see how things were progressing. I have been praying that he would be healed and that they would say he is doing great. They did the xray which is not fun then we went to a room. The doctor came in and asked what they told us Wednesday night at the hospital? We told him and he said, well I can't even see a specific spot where anything happened on the xray!!!! So he sat Colton up and he began to press on the collar bone, HELLO! I was like umm....leave him alone! Colton did great and just flinched a little. The doc said he looks good and to just keep the bandage on for 7-10 days until he wants to take it off b/c it doesn't hurt anymore. He said its still sore but its healing great! He cannot go into a class at church for 2 weeks just to be sure he doesn't fall or injure it again. We have an appt. July 8th to make sure he is good to go! I know that God answered our prayers and he is doing so much better. I pray that in 7 days he will be doing tons better so he can be a good big brother to Caden. Thank you for your prayers, they were felt and the xray shows that my God hears our prayers and answers them! Just continue to pray for us as we are all getting ready to have our sweet baby in just a few short days!

Well we have survived the past few days with Colton. The first couple were pretty rough, he was in pain and kept forgetting that he couldn't use his right arm, which is the one he always uses. An hour after he has his pain meds he is good. He has now learned his limits on what he can and can't do with his right arm and he is doing well using his left arm for most things. We go tomorrow at noon to get him another xray and to see the progress he is making. I am praying that the Lord has healed him! He really stresses me out and I don't think thats good in my condition! I just DO NOT want him to fall again and mess it up worse than it already is! Oh and we are having a baby in 8 days!!! O my! I pray Caden stays comfy in my tummy till Monday when we induce so we can have these next days to focus on getting Colton as back to normal as we can! Please pray for us tomorrow at noon that we receive good news from the doctors! I will let you know what we find out!

My Precious Colton

It has been quite interesting around our house the past 5 days. Saturday we took Colton to the doctor b/c of a rash and fever and found out that he had strep throat. We had no clue. So we chose the shot in case Caden was born so we wouldn't have to worry about remembering his antibiotics. So he was all better and we have had a great Monday and Tuesday. Today was going great, after baths before heading to dinner with my brother Colton fell off his bed. He is our tough guy, normally he cries a little then moves on. Well today he kept crying and saying, hurt, hurt. Then he would move his arm and scream ouch! So Jon was thankfully already on his way home so when he got home I told him we prob needed to head to the hospital to get him checked out. The joys of living out in the country... we got to drive an hour in 5:00 traffic to the hospital. We got there and the waiting room was packed! I was dreading how long it would take and with him in all this pain it wasn't going to be pretty. After we talked to the guy at the desk he gave me a Fast Track card and told me to go down the hall to the other window. Within 5 min. we were back in a room! Amazing! Things went pretty fast and they did an xray of his shoulder and collar bone. Sure enough he broke his collar bone. He must have fell in a real akward way. So they said that is the best bone to break b/c it will heal itself and the pain should go away in a few days. They put him in a sling and then wrapped him w/ an ace bandage. He absolutely hates it and then throws his arms up but then realizes that wasn't very smart and hurts really bad. He cannot run, climb, or play for a few days so please pray for me as I am about to pop that I can deal with him in the best way for both of us. We go back Monday for another xray to see how things are progressing! I am praying they give us a green light. We just pray that nothing else crazy will happen in these next 11 days before Caden arrives. Hopefully Colton will be ok by then! I am gonna try and sleep after all this craziness! Praying tomorrow is a good day!

Redbirds Game

A couple of weeks ago we got to go to the Redbirds game. The boys had never been and my brother got free tickets so we went and it was fun. Colton made it about 4 innings then he was done but we had a good time and Cooper wants Dad to take him back so they can stay a whole game! Here is a pic of my boys by the baseball player out front!

Dinner with Flo

Well I have finally got all my pictures from the night we had dinner with Flo. Flo is a guy I met back in 2000 when he came from Germany to be an exchange student at Germantown High School. Audrey invited him to church with her and he came and got saved and we have been friends since. I have seen him at least once a year since then. He came back for our wedding and was a part of it. He is a great friend and we love his yearly visits. The boys enjoy him very much and this time they loved asking what different words sounded like in German. We are so grateful that he calls us every year when he comes to town! Here are pics from our dinner with him.

38 Weeks

Today is 38 weeks. I am still 1 cent but 60% efaced now. I go again on Friday because my doctor leaves town on Saturday and will be gone all next week. So he needs to come now or wait till induction. We will be very busy next week with VBS so I am fine with waiting 2 weeks from today to be induced. We got our papers and will be at the hospital at 5am on the 21st!! We are so ready to meet our newest little guy! 14 days sounds so soon!!! :) Can't wait!!!!

37 Weeks

I went to the doctor today and I am 1 cent. and 50% efaced, if that is how you spell it. Things are looking good and I was told if I go into labor at any point from now on they will not stop me! Yay! Come on little guy I am ready to have you!!!!

Happy Birthday Cooper! I cannot believe that it has been 5 years since you have come into our lives. We have never been the same and I can't imagine life without you in it. You have the sweetest spirit. You care so much and are growing into a little man. I am excited to see how the Lord will use you throughout your life. Your Dad and I's prayer is that you would be sensitive to the Holy Spirit and come to realize that you need Jesus in your heart. What a glorious day that will be when I get to see my oldest child accept Jesus Christ! We love you so much and these past 5 years have been an absolute blast!

Making Progress...

Today was my 36 week check up and things are going well. I am 1/2 a centimeter and she could touch his head. So he is head down ready to come and we are all very ready to meet him!!

Things are going well and I have my last baby shower this week at our church. I am excited to get all the last minute stuff and be completely ready for him to come!

Weekly Visits

Today began my weekly trips to the doctor. We are in the home stretch! I am very excited! I have not started to progress yet but I am having Braxton Hicks like crazy. They very much annoy me.

The only good news is that 5 weeks from today I will be holding my sweet baby boy no matter if he comes early or not. June 21st is our day for induction if he decides to wait.

I will update weekly on my appointments.

Well I am a little behind on getting Colton's 2 year pics and with Cooper turning 5 this month I just called up my sister-in-law and we went out for a session for the boys but ending up doing some family and maternity shots as well. And Colton is still 2, just 5 months late in getting his done, he will never know :)

Mother's Day

As I sit here tonight very tired and ready for bed I just can't stop thinking about Mother's Day tomorrow. It's still hard for me to believe that God chose me to be the Mom to Cooper and Colton. I never take that for granted and as Caden is just kicking all of my insides I am so thankful to be pregnant. I am not one that enjoys it much at all but this pregnancy has been the best out of the 3 so that is something I am very thankful for.

If you would have told me 8 years ago when I was graduating High School that I would be married for 6 years and expecting our 3rd child at the age of 26 I don't know if I would have thought that possible. But God has truely blessed me beyond what I could have ever imagined. He gave me the most amazing husband in this world and 2 of the sweetest and most handsome boys that I have ever seen. I lately have been just so thankful for everything that we do have and I pray I never take anyone of my boys for granted. I cannot wait to meet our precious baby boy and hold him in my arms but until then I will try and enjoy these last few weeks of being pregnant.

Thank you Lord for choosing me to be a Mom to these precious children You have given me. I pray that I will always be led by You in raising them in a Godly manner.
