7 Years Old
I'm not sure how this happened but my firstborn is turning into a young man right before my eyes. He is the most thoughtful, sweet, and sensitive guy. I love him so much and am truly thankful that he is our oldest to lead his younger brothers. God blessed me so much when gave him to me. I am honored to be his mom!
Coop and I will begin a new journey this year together. We are homeschooling him this coming year. He is so smart and we have been praying about our options and we have been lead to do this. I am excited and very scared at the same time. I know he will do amazing and I am ready to get it going. I will keep all 3 of you updated on our progress!
All I know is I am thrilled to have him back home with me and honored to be teaching him. Love my 7 year old more than I can express in words!!
Happy Birthday buddy! This year he wanted a family party and then to take his best bud to Incredible Pizza. We had the other 2 boys spend the night with my mom and then Jon and I took Cooper and Luke to Incredible Pizza. On his real birthday Luke and Cooper got to go to the Redbirds game with Luke's step dad and it had a rain delay so they just ate and ate some more in their box till the game started. On his 7th birthday our big guy arrived home at midnight :) I'm definately not ready for the teenage years!!!!
He had a family birthday party and his cake was a Dallas Mavericks jersey. He loved it and here are a couple pics from his party.

Home Run...or Runs
Today was another first for one of our boys I will be sad when we don't get to experience them anymore. Anyways...This is our first year of playing tball and Cooper and Colton have both really enjoyed it. Today Cooper hit his first ever home run!!! One proud momma right here. I am sad to say they played right in the middle of Caden's nap so I stayed home so everyone at the game could enjoy it without him fussing. Jon sent me the video and I am so proud!! Colton also hit a single on the first pitch!
As I sat watching the video over and over I get another text that says...He did it again!!!! So I got that video and can't stop watching! So thankful to the Lord for the talents He has given my boys. Can't wait to see how He will use them for His glory!!
Let's Go Diamondbacks!!!!

Growing up
Tonight Cooper was invited by his buddy Luke to go to a Valentines dinner/party at his church. This is a first for me...I was struggling thinking about my baby being picked up and just taken out without me. Yes he is almost 7 but he's my firstborn! After Jon kept telling me how much fun he would have I began to feel a little better. So Jackie and Luke came and picked him up...he was jumping up and down waiting for them. There they go. A piece of my heart went too. I'm not gonna do very well when they are teenagers!! :) He was supposed to be home at 9 and about 10 after I began to get nervous!! Jon agains says he is fine. He showed up about 9:15 with the biggest smile on his face. He had the time of his life and even won a prize!
Thank you Lord for such a sweet boy and for comforting me while he was gone!

Awards
We were invited again to go to Coop's school to see him receive yet another award. The second nine weeks awards were exciting. Colton and Caden get so excited watching Cooper go up on stage to get his awards. Jon and I are so proud of him and his accomplishments.
This time he got Principal's list again, all A's on his report card. And an added bonus he received the Best Behavior award as well!! He was just beaming up there holding his awards.
Pics to come they won't load right now.

Teeth Guard
Here is a conversation from the other night between Jon and Coop.
Coop - Oh, I think I have a cracker in my pocket. (it's like 5:30pm)
Jon - From lunch at school?
Coop - Yes, looking at him like why not?
Jon - Ummm...why do you have a cracker in your pocket?
Coop - In case we played football at recess.
Jon - Why do you need a cracker in your pocket to play football at recess?
Coop - To protect my teeth! Seriously Dad?
Jon - Oh like a mouth guard?
Coop - Yes
I chime in and ask, What happens if you bite it?
Cooper says...I guess I'll just eat it!
Crazy kiddo!!!

A Boy and His Dog
Cooper is just like me in his love for dogs. When we got Fenway I knew that they would be buds. They both get so excited every afternoon when they are reunited after Coop gets home from school. This is a pic of them headed to my parents on Christmas Eve. So sweet!!
