Trip to Georgia

This past weekend we went down to GA to visit our former Pastor and his family. We love them dearly and decided since the boys were out of school for a bit to go down and visit. The boys did good in the car. One time we stopped at a gas station to use the restrooms and Caden sat down in the middle of the floor to read this book...

I'm not sure what to think but Jon and I cracked up when we read the title. We said come on Caden we have to leave and he said, I read this book! Haha! The trip down took longer than expected but with my pregnant self and my small bladder we had to stop alot :)

The boys were so excited to see their friends and started playing right off the bat. They didnt even go to bed till after 11 and even then played in the room. Friday morning Colton was a little sluggish and after lunch I asked Stephanie if she had a something I could take his temp with. Well it was 102. So we headed out to a minor med to get him checked out. During this time Jon took Cooper and Caden to shoot guns. No Caden didnt shoot anything he just went along for fun. Cooper got a BB gun for Christmas and got to shoot it and another gun for the first time. Jon said he did great and he loved every minute of it.

Back to the minor med. Colton and I were there for 4 hours!!!!! Longest day of my life and his probably. We kept going in and out of the waiting room hoping it was time to see the doctor. He was checked for the flu and strep and nothing came back positive. Just a virus let it run its course. Easier said than done when we were going back to a house that had 7 kids staying in it. So from Friday evening on Colton wasnt himself. But he was trying to play and have fun when the motrin would kick in. We were supposed to come home on Monday but Sunday morning when he woke up for the 3rd day in a row with a 103 temp we decided to head home that afternoon.

Cooper had an amazing vacation! Just wish it would have been better for Colton. In the end it was great to hang out with great friends!!! Here are the few pics we got from the trip.

We always get a picture of all the kids and this one turned out great! 6 Months from now there will be 2 more! I'm due in March and Stephanie is due in June! 

Christmas Day

We woke up early to have Christmas here at our house with the boys and they had a great time opening presents. I love the ages they are at right now. As a parent its so neat to see them light up when they open just the perfect gift they have been waiting for!! We did all videos of the morning but I did get one pic of them on the couch before we started.

Around lunch we headed to Jon's parents house where his whole family was there waiting on us. The boys were spoiled very much by grandparents, aunts, and uncles. Here are a couple pics from the Kenneys.

We had a great time at my parents house celebrating Christmas. Its hard to believe that next year there will be 2 more little ones around. 

Happy 5th Birthday Colton

Today Colton turned 5, my oh my where has the time gone. I remember that sweet baby that year at Christmas. He has grown so much and is such a funny and crazy kid. I love him so much and I am so blessed to be his Mom.

He had a party with family, then a party with a couple of friends, and then dinner with our family to wherever he wanted. He picked Dairy Queen, they just opened one and he had to try it out and see if their ice cream was any good!

Cooper and Colton have been doing excellent in school this year. I was worried about Colton but he has surprised us and has loved every minute of it and is learning so much! We were invited to their awards ceremony not knowing what they were going to get.

Colton was up first and when they called his name he walked up on stage so proud, he's been to many in the past for Cooper so he was excited he was finally getting one. He got Perfect Attendance and the Math Magician award for his class. He had the highest average in math :) way to go buddy!!!

Coopers class was next and he brought home 4 awards! Ever since he's been in school he has gotten Principals List, all A's and he did it again his first 9 weeks of second grade. He also got Perfect Attendance, Most Dependable, and the Math Magician award for his class with a 99% average!

I'm so proud of these boys and the hard work they put into school. I am one blessed Mom!!

Baby #4...

I am very excited to say that our 4th baby is a healthy and perfect little boy!!!! We are so excited and my boys cannot wait to have another brother around the house. I love my boys so much and I am so blessed to be surrounded by 5 amazing guys!!! Here is a pic of the boys announcing their brother.

Happy Fall Yall

I love the fall because it brings cool temperatures and I LOVE that!! I love having all our windows open and the nice cold evenings we have. Cooper just finished up another soccer season and had a blast! Colton is loving school and Caden is enjoying his alone time with Mom during the time the boys are at school.

Here is a pic of us from a neighbor's fall party. The boys bobbed for apples, had pumpkin races, a treasure hunt, and a hayride. We had a great time!

Baby Update: I will be 18 weeks this week and I am still feeling great. This one has definately been a good pregnancy. We find out next Friday the 26th if we are having a boy or girl! We can't wait to see who God has blessed us with. The boys all want another brother and Jon and I are perfectly fine with either one. Just praying for a healthy baby!! Will update as soon as I can.

Where have I been?!?

Well I had a computer for about a week before it broke so my blogging has gone astray. I can't seem to blog with pictures from my iPad so here is an update without pictures.

Caden is potty trained! We started the week of his birthday and he was so easy and is still a champ!! So thankful for that!!

We found out July 9th that another sweet baby will be joining our family in March!!!! I am so excited and can't wait to see who the Lord has chosen to give us. Come on October :) I have been feeling great just tired. This has been the best pregnancy I have ever had! Another huge blessing.

Cooper and Colton have both started school. Cooper is in 2nd grade and Colton started preK. We decided to send Cooper and wait on the homeschool thing. They both love it and I'm enjoying my days with Caden. He's just getting used to being the only one home during the day.

My Grandma is coming in town this weekend and staying with us! I can't wait to hang out with her!! She's 94 now and I'm blessed for my kids to get to spend time with her.

Happy 2nd Birthday Caden!

Today our baby turned 2! Where has the time gone? He is so precious to me and a very sweet boy...on the other hand he is ALL boy! He is the most rough and tumble one that we have. He loves Hulk and sometimes thinks he truly is him and acts like him :) I will say Caden and he will turn to me and say No Mama I Hulk! So precious. Then he proceeds to run from wall to wall banging into them! Never a dull moment with this big little guy around. It doesn't help that he is also so big for his age. He weighs 33 pounds and is in the 95% in height and weight. He started out huge and has kept up with it. I love him so much and can't imagine life without him in our family!! He had a Hulk party with our families and had a blast! What a sweet boy! Happy Birthday Caden!

Vacation Bible School

We have had VBS at church this week. The older boys have had a blast but Caden has not. He woke up Monday morning with a fever and has had one ever since. I got great pics with my older ones but I love the one of Caden and I because it truly shows how he has been feeling all week. Poor guy. Hope he gets better real soon b/c next week he will be 2!! Can't believe it. Here are my 3 handsome men.

7 Years Old

I'm not sure how this happened but my firstborn is turning into a young man right before my eyes. He is the most thoughtful, sweet, and sensitive guy. I love him so much and am truly thankful that he is our oldest to lead his younger brothers. God blessed me so much when gave him to me. I am honored to be his mom!

Coop and I will begin a new journey this year together. We are homeschooling him this coming year. He is so smart and we have been praying about our options and we have been lead to do this. I am excited and very scared at the same time. I know he will do amazing and I am ready to get it going. I will keep all 3 of you updated on our progress!

All I know is I am thrilled to have him back home with me and honored to be teaching him. Love my 7 year old more than I can express in words!!

Happy Birthday buddy! This year he wanted a family party and then to take his best bud to Incredible Pizza. We had the other 2 boys spend the night with my mom and then Jon and I took Cooper and Luke to Incredible Pizza. On his real birthday Luke and Cooper got to go to the Redbirds game with Luke's step dad and it had a rain delay so they just ate and ate some more in their box till the game started. On his 7th birthday our big guy arrived home at midnight :) I'm definately not ready for the teenage years!!!!

He had a family birthday party and his cake was a Dallas Mavericks jersey. He loved it and here are a couple pics from his party.

Home Run...or Runs

Today was another first for one of our boys I will be sad when we don't get to experience them anymore. Anyways...This is our first year of playing tball and Cooper and Colton have both really enjoyed it. Today Cooper hit his first ever home run!!! One proud momma right here. I am sad to say they played right in the middle of Caden's nap so I stayed home so everyone at the game could enjoy it without him fussing. Jon sent me the video and I am so proud!! Colton also hit a single on the first pitch! As I sat watching the video over and over I get another text that says...He did it again!!!! So I got that video and can't stop watching! So thankful to the Lord for the talents He has given my boys. Can't wait to see how He will use them for His glory!! Let's Go Diamondbacks!!!!
