As Colton and I were playing this morning I got a phone call that said...
"Mrs.Kenney, this is the school nurse. There is not an emergency but Cooper has fallen on the playground and cut his hand in a few places. There is blood on his shirt and shorts, do you mind bringing him some clean clothes. But bring them to the office because Ms.Katie doesn't want him to see you or he would probably want to come home."
So I grabbed some clothes and Colton and I went to the school. Colt got so excited when we pulled up, he thought it was time to get Pooper, as he calls him. So I had to try to explain to my almost 2 yr. old it wasn't time and that we would be back in a few hours.
I am not sure how many more calls I will get from the school nurse but I received my first one today and I am just glad he is ok. She said he was very brave and got a Spiderman bandaid! More stories to come I am sure...

Aw. Glad he is okay. I am sure there will be several more calls in the years to come and they never get easier. Your stomach always drops. Ty fell at the playground last year. In result, trip to the Er and stitches! :)
Enjoy your time with your little one!
